I Can't Take You Anywhere by T. Bolema c 1984 I took you to the country, but you didn't care. I took you back to the city, and you didn't dare get out of the car. I can't take you anywhere. I took you out shopping, and you wanted to buy. I took you restaurant hopping, I try and try but I can't take you anywhere. I took you to the train yard, and you wanted to talk. You want it dry when it rains hard. I'm on the run, and you walk. I can't take you anywhere.

DON’T WANNA SING Bolema 1984 I don’t wanna sing about the future. I don’t wanna sing about the past. I’ve heard it all, and I want to rise above, but this is not love. I don’t wanna sing about the people, or what the people do, or what the people say, or the games they play. If I had it my way I would rise above, but this is not love. I don’t wanna sing about the future, or her, or our love, or the feeling that I get when I want to rise above. Now this is love. I don’t want to sing at all. I want to rise above, but this is not love.

Funky Cool 03:28
FUNKY COOL Beefbone Music 1987 I'm late at work. Ran outta gas. I still can get the job done, it’s a menial task. But the man they call “Boss” always watching what I do. I can do it alone, man, it don’t take two. So I’m driving to the bar, calm as can be, and a little Japanese car cuts in front of me. He’s tailing on the phone, flips me the bird, and that’s when I coined these famous words: Everybody thinks that they’re so funky cool. How about you? How about you? Yeah, everybody thinks that they’re so funky cool. Yeah, yeah, yeah, funky cool. Back at home I’m watching TV. There’s a pretty face looking out at me. Her white-toothed smile shows how happy she be. She’s got her own show on my TV. So I switch to the news, and here’s the president trying to remember what he meant. He thinks he’s so cool. Mister Confident. Who’s he trying to fool? We know what he meant. Everybody thinks that they’re so funky cool. How about you? How about you? Yeah, everybody thinks that they’re so funky cool. Yeah, yeah, yeah, funky cool. I try to get a gig for this rock and roll band. All they ever give us is Tuesday night. Man, we got records in the store. We’re making noise. And the other band’s girlfriends analyze our poise. Everybody thinks that they’re so funky cool. How about you? How about you? Yeah, everybody thinks they’re so funky cool. Except for us. We’re cooler than cool. Yeah everybody thinks that they’re so funky cool. How about you? How about you? Yeah, everybody thinks that they’re so funky cool. Yeah, yeah, yeah, funky cool.

Guinea Pig 01:13
GUINEA PIG Bolema 1985 What’s in the bag on the market shelf? Money back guarantee says it will cure my health. What’s in it for me? What’s in it for you? We are Guinea pigs in a crowded zoo. Just Guinea pigs in a crowded zoo. Guinea pigs with nothing to do. Who’s that preaching? What’s he saying? He should be teaching his flock to pray, not pay. But they’re Guinea pigs of mind control. What’s in it for them they’ll never know. They’re Guinea pigs, they’ll never know, cuz Guinea pigs don’t wanna know. Do you wanna get high? Gotta get higher. Wanna ease your pain? Gotta scratch your brain. I’m a Guinea pig of my own design. A Guinea pig with a Guinea mind. Got Guinea legs, Guinea rhymes. I’m a Guinea pig for the modern times. Guinea pig for industry. Guinea pig for biology. Guinea pig for the United Nations. Guinea pig for the future generations.

GUNS 01:22
GUNS! Bolema 1984 You got one, I got two. I love the feel of that cold blue. The only thing'll make me run, and the Devil knows it means fun. Guns! Guns! Spitting out that heavy metal. There ain't no fight that it can't settle. Makes a coward be a man, and gives the weak the upper hand. Guns! Guns! Pistol, Uzi, atom bomb. If yours jams, go get Mom's. Not enough to go around. Guns!
6.
IGNORANCE BLITZ Bolema 1984 I don’t need a picture to show you one and one is four. Ignorance blitz! I don’t need words to discuss what’s wrong with us. Ignorance blitz! If I had a nickel for every lie, I could retire, but instead, I’m gonna die in an ignorance blitz!

JOHNNY CAN'T ROCK AND ROLL Bolema 1984 Way down in Arkansas, he bought a guitar at the mall. It paid so well off in bed, the bell stopped ringing in his head. Oh no! It's outta control! Johnny can't rock and roll. Way out in Hollywood, they made Johnny feel good. They changed his name to “Blair”, and made him look just like Cher. Oh no! It's outta control! Johnny can't rock and roll. Way down in London town, there is no underground. On his guitar he can't play dick, but everybody knows his licks. Oh no! It's outta control! Johnny can't rock and roll.

Skin is Skin 02:02
SKIN IS SKIN Bolema 1984 I am the beast that rules the masses, the long arm of the law. I regulate the classes, and keep a file on us all. But otherwise, skin is skin. I am the dog of health and welfare. I manipulate the goods. And you will get your fair share, only if I say you should. But otherwise, skin is skin. The plastic veil lifts at night from the ghetto. The traffic light stays red. Boy takes primitive satisfaction in the shallows of his head. But otherwise, skin is skin.
9.
TWO IN THE BUSH Bolema 1983 She was an idea that everyone had at once. She wouldn't wouldn't lie to you, she'd have you for lunch. Two in the bush Two in the bush He was lonely, lonely at birth. She proved only what a bird in the hand is worth. Two in the bush Two in the bush

Butcher Mania c Tom Bolema Shock is so chic, everyone loves a shrieker. If life was so cheap why not sell tickets cheaper? Butcher mania. Every child has a little toy Jesus that dies again and again and again. Butcher mania. Thrill me. Kill me. Butcher mania. Every leader as part of his glory must send us to war so we can get gory. Butcher mania. Big screen, magazine, comic book, TV set. Don’t you dare look because it is not over yet. Butcher mania.
